Starting a new business. Want the HHR panel - the year doesn't matter. Can't get the SS equip on a panel so I would like to convert/enhance existing motor to SS performance.

As I will be doing a bit of driving would prefer the 2.2 motor as it should get slightly better MPG.

Most panels I have seen have the storage units in the rear seat's location. As more than one person may be in the HHR with me, does anyone know if the factory seats bolt in?

OK guys, hit me with some ideas.

Welcome, first of all....
& Best of luck in your new biz..

Panel, yes wise choice. I just happen to own one also.. & Yes you can get a SS Panel (used)..

HHRs' come in 4 levels, LS (base model), then 1LT, 2LT, & finally the hotrod SS

Converting a non-SS to SS performance etc.. 2 different worlds.. (forget it)
SS has a 2.0 w/Turbo & FE5 suspension, 4 wheel disc brakes & way too much more to list.

I have a 2LT Panel which comes very well equipped from factory..It has the 2.4 but I average about 30 mpg. When my foot is not in it..

Yes you can remove the rear storage & add a rear seat.. Several here have done it. Look in the "How To" section for detailed info & pictures..It's a direct bolt-in.. Just need the parts..
