Welcome to the forum
some most popular upgrades, from what I have seen

blow off valve, stocker is crap! Forge seems to be most popular (i have it!)
intercooler, hahn or zzp most popular (stocker has plastic end tanks)
TTR upper motor mount (helps plant the power)
TTR rear sway bar (helps it corner like a porsche!)
some sort of tune, GM, Trifecta, HP tuners (will have to use high octane after any of these, stock i guess you can use lower octane gas, doubt that I would though!)

other than that these are pretty well set up out of the box! there are intakes and exhaust options, but they can cause issues too, especially if you are not tuned. I have the K&N intake and have not had an issue while others have.

enjoy it!

Thanks for the list and the welcome.

As it's pop's snowbird ride, have you done the sway bar and engine mount?

I ask as he's concerned about it making the ride harsh (he is in his 70s) I'm sure once it's in that he will like the performance, I just don't want something that will beat him up (hence my question about harsh ride in my tire thread).

its already pretty stiff! the sway bar will stiffen up cornering, motor mount can cause some vibration in the steering wheel for awhile but it will settle out, other than that it wont really affect ride wise/stiffening bounce

just fyi I picked up yokohama's YK580 for my SS and I love them!

Pops picked up his new wheels today, fronts are bald, windshield is sand blasted (fellah that checked out the ride told pops it was).

He says the tune is lively and whatever pipe is on it has a good sound.

Says he'll have to be careful to stay out of trouble, because it's quick.
