Hey everyone, I’m C J. I’ve been working on cars since I was 16, with most of my background rooted in Ford and Chrysler platforms. Over the years, I’ve done everything from troubleshooting and upgrades to OEM-style retrofits that manufacturers didn’t always offer from the factory.
On the Ford side, that’s included adding features like SYNC systems into Interceptor model vehicles. With Chrysler products, I’ve handled full factory-style upgrades—such as converting a Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo into a Limited, complete with factory Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, OEM backup camera, and XM integration.
I’m currently transitioning over to GM platforms and looking forward to applying that same OEM-plus mindset and hands-on experience here. I’m here to learn, share knowledge, and contribute wherever I can.I realize this thread is dated, but I’m hoping someone may still see this reply and point me in the right direction. I have limited experience with OnStar systems; however, I’ve successfully performed Bluetooth module swaps and upgraded several GM vehicles to the 4G LTE module.
Does anyone know where I can find the connector pinouts for a 2008 Chevy HHR LT equipped with the OnStar UE1 system—specifically for connectors X1, X2, and X4? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. I’m happy to share any results or progress I make in return.
Thanks in advanced. - CJ
