thank you. 
why ? because i was with my wife in the car and she lost the power steering and got the dash warning on our 2010 hhr. we pulled over and swapped drivers ,i restarted the car and all was well.local repair shop started at 600.00 .no big deal but i decided to go to an hhr forum and do some research..................GASP 
i used the large already discussed thread [many pages] rather than start my first post with "i lost my p/s". anyhooos a called to my chevy dealer and it was fixed at no charge. SO EVERY ONE HERE GIVE YOURSELVES A PAT ON THE BACK. maybe someday i can repay this forum
