Hello HHR owners! Going a while back, I drove one of these as a mobile tint operation out of Burlington, Ontario. Can't remember if it was a panel or not. Anyhow, I just picked one up... a black 2008. So far, so good. 2.2liter supercharged clone. Pretty fun little whip I'd say. my wife and I were driving down the street heading out to a local car lot, when out of the corner of her eye, she spotted this car/truck. so we kept on down the road and looked at a few cars. We then went back to where this HHR was sitting on a corner of a mechanic's garage. I phoned the number on his sign. I asked if I could take it out to have my mechanic look at it, to which he agreed. I left my credit card behind for him to hold. The car checked out just fine, and didn't need anything for a safety check. I gave him what he was asking for it. So, I paid the tax man, plated it and insurance on it now. We're used to sitting in a ENVOY then a Equinox. Wife says it will take some getting used to as it sits closer to the ground. She says its like riding a go kart. I agreed as the supercharger kicked in. It sounds great because the exhaust is wider in diameter and also has a Flowmaster muffler. It is a five speed, which are fun to drive. Driver's side is special because it came with a race seat. The previous owner also threw in a new race clutch and serpentine belt, and winter tires on rims. 18" wheels from a cobalt I believe, are the only chrome on the car. Everything else is blacked out. My brother is an airbrush artist and auto painter, so it is likely going to be painted in the near future. I like the look of some of your two tone paintjobs. Hopefully it wont be stepping on anybody's style, but the car is unique, and deserves a one of a kind treatment. So far I've just tinted the front doors 35% (dont need the five oh giving me a hard time) and a checkerboard sunstrip across the top of the windshield. I gave it a bath and detailed the interior, added some black vinyl to the top of the headlights. I also have a vinyl cutter, so a CHEVYHHR.NET sticker will be on it in no time. With all that said, I'm glad there is such forums as this one. I also do some metal detecting, thus my user name. 336,ooo kilometers

Nice ride! I like the SS clone front grille and bumper. The 18” Cobalt SS rims are a bonus. A race serpentine belt? We will need more photos when the weather warms up!
I think I saw this on kijiji a while ago, the price was good and said it was mechanic owned, but you can never tell how well mods have been executed. It has the ZZP supercharger kit?
