J. Vincent Fitzsimmoons
Greetings to all. I am a retired vocational counselor and the guardian of two senior citizens whom I frequently transport to medical appointments or dinner out. My 2008 HHR will frequently form puddles on the floor of the drivers side. Because I live on a hill , it forms near the accelerator pedal (probably becase it is parked facing down hill and slightly tilted to the right.). I have had it into the Chev dealer three time. After expenditure of my money, they tell me either there is no leak or they can not find one. I am retired and hope to keep this car for a good time longer. It lets me carry wheelchair and patient as well as hardware and groceries.
I am new to this system, and would appreciate some hints on how best to investigate in Chevyhhr.net

Welcome welcome welcome.
There are lots and lots of information here on different issues people have had with their HHR's, as well as a wealth of tips and hints on how to maintain or upgrade your car - hopefully you will find it useful.
Generally if one has a problem and wants some help in determining what the problem is (or finding a "fix), they post a new thread in this link - https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/problems-service-repairs-42/. All one has to do is click on the NEW THREAD button near the upper left and they then can give a title and the details on the situation.
However, :) before posting a question or request for help, you will often find that using the SEARCH TOOL near the top, center of the page will get you a wealth of information very quickly. For example, in the search box enter - water leak drivers - and up will pop a number of entries here discussing the issue. Actually 393 entries for that particular search.
And please don't expect an immediate answer if you do post a question - the responders here are just members like yourself - there are no "staff" as such monitoring on a minute to minute basis. So, if you post an item, check back after a bit and see if anyone has responded.
So, give that search tool a try and prepare to do some reading. Do post back on how you made out - we always LOVE to hear how things progressed, as it often can help someone else out.

Welcome to the site
Does your hhr have a sunroof? Water leaks can be difficult to find some times.
Did you tell your dealer that it leaks when facing downward.
I would ask them to check it again with the rear of the car jacked up in the air.
