2008 HHR SS, 53144 miles, manual and covered in more snow, go figure trade in my full sized sub for a mini sub and we get pounded.

I been thinking about getting one for some time and well, just happened to find one on the day I wanted to buy a new smaller vehicle.

Anyways, just thought I would find a good forum as every time I look something up about the HHR SS, it gets blasted as a big POS. Also, why does everyone have different wheels? All my badges are blacked out and door "SS" ones are missing, are they common to fall off?

If the SS emblems are gone, then the former owner probably "debadged" it. Some SS owners like to go with the stealth mode and not advertise their car for what it is.

Did Chevy just throw these on some, or do you think the PO changed them?

 

Previous owner changed them. SS's new, only came with the SS 18" polished aluminum rims.
