My horror story
I was the owner of a nice 2002 Cavalier with 180000 miles until a couple of weeks ago. I was on my way back home to AL from TN (born and raised in CT). When my timing chain jumped, well 3 cylinders less later I found myself walking around a nearby Chevy dealer lot, wife out back with the dogs in tow. I must have walked past the HHRs at least 10 times and took just about every other kind of truck for a test drive finding nothing to my liking. On the way out I said WTH let me see this 1. It was a 2007 HHR and as soon as I opened the door and peered inside I was sold. Its sweet with Leather seats, 2.4 engine, Ice cold air, awsome sound system, you all know the drill. I fell in love. So here I am hello to all you other fans of this awsome ride.
Glad you were able to make good out of a bad situation. You will grow to love your HHR much more if you are anything like a bunch of us here.

Sorry it took that to get you into an HHR, but glad you chose it!!! I know you'll love it, just like the rest of us!!! You made a great choice in cars!

Welcome to the group. I came close to buying a silver HHR, similar to the one that you have. Sounds like a 2LT. Not hard to fall in love with an HHR with all of the luxury thrown in. You're gonna love those heated leather seats when the temp starts falling outside. Enjoy...
