Hi guys, I just had to join to thank all members in the Camshaft Position Sensor Thread up to yesterday. I had all the common indications of the P0011 and P0013 codes. I never had it read as I was sure from all the info in the forum. I read all the way back to 2007. Bought the parts today, installed early afternoon with the battery disconnected :). Buttoned it all up in about 30 min. and test drove, all is fine except the T/C light is still on. It all started with the T/C light on for a very short time then it went off.
Then came the check gas cap warning, replaced the cap CEL went off, next day CEL, T/C and a display warning that said (ENG PWR REDUCED). The power was weak then along with hard shifting (Automatic). Came to the Chevy HHR Network and found you guys. So far the rest is history. Thanks to all who contribute to the forum. Tom

Thanks guys, glad I found ya'll!!

 

My sensor replace was easy!! So easy I forgot to replace the mass air plug, that is what was causing my t/c light and the CEL which was on again the afternoon. Broke down and read the codes to find I had missed the plug. All is well now. Just wannted to advise all to double check your work. I need to be kicked.
