New to the forum and the hhr

more of a truck guy but i was getting tired of the s10 (rust) then this pannel showed up on cl and i like white cars/trucks so i went and checked it out and made a deal needs a few things but i got a good price on it
seems like a lot of info here looking foward to the ride

I'm an old S-10 guy too.. had an '85 long bed for almost 10 yrs, then my last was a 1998 short bed, had for 10 yrs, but had to have a Panel..

So here we are !!!

thanks for the welcome i have done a couple things rear bolt on the r/h lower control arm was loose (rattling up a storm) and a clean up brush touch up and blacked out the brakes thinking about blacking out the grill and painting the both bowties white oh and the paint on the hood needs to be striped and refinished (all blistered) i am liking it so far handles better than i thought
couple questions on it

anything i should be looking out for it has 106k on it runs great and drives tight still

it has the 3.91 ratio gear and tacks kinda high will it still get good milage ?

and do all these have water base paint

I too drove an older Chevy S-10 (my girfriends) before I got my HHR Panel. Can I join your club? haha

i have had my 96 s10 for about 4+ years now it is time for somebody else to take over the driver seat. i sold a 2007 gmc to buy the panel realy liking how fun this is to drive
