The will be alot of questions on my part as the list of mods i have in mind from minor to major grows and from what i have seen and read here, this seems to be the place to get the answers.

So from a 56 y/o "motorhead" that has been around the "cones" and down the 1/4 mile more times then i can remember, i am looking forward to "picking al of your colective brains and turning "mama's" new ride into something that will be "sharp and fast"....

You all have a Great "Merry Christmas" and Happy New Years"....I will be back!
WELCOME, from a 55 y/o "motorhead", & Congrats on the NEW ride

I happen to be partial to the White ones myself.. There are plenty of members here that have done about everything imaginable to HHRs'..........I learn new stuff everyday here....

Hey All !! Here is to hoping all of you had a Great christmas and those that asked got ll of the HHR "TOYS" you asked for!!

I read about the "Toledo Get Together" on the forums, sounded like you all had a good time, and Cedar Point isn't far from home either and it seems there was a "Get Together" or 2 there also...I know alot of "Car" groups also make the "Cruise" up to the "Quaker Steak" burger joint in Lorain, Ohio over in the Cleveland area...was there a few yrs back for a Sunday Cruise with the 66 Chev Twice SS i spent too much money on...

Has for hauling freight, i have my own authority and also use a freight broker and do "partener" carrying for more companies then i can list...Not doing, LTL , or TL freight and specializing in Expedite, you carry freight for most any one that needs someting moved and it has to be there yesterday...get alot of freight from the LTL and TL companies that they missed and let sit on the dock 1 or 2 days too long, then if it isn't sent over night by an expediter, its late...cheaper to pay me to drive 4-16 hours (under 10,000 lg gvw, no DOT rules to screw with) then to pay a "late" freight charge because yu screwed up.....

Oh and that "Model Show" at Olander Park, if i remember correctly, it was at one time part of a huge "TOY" (transportation) show at the Lucas Country fair grounds....if it was die cast, plastic, had wheels and tires or "tracks" was commerical for venders of major companies or for retail, new, used, antique or just beat up, cheap stuff all the way to "high line" (real wire wheels on a 1/43rd ferreri) you found it there...use to be a great show...they also use to have one up at the Holiday Inn around Woodhaven Mich.....some of those modeler, ( including if i remember right, a member here) do a great job in detailing those things....

And yes, they ideas found here seem to be endless..i have already set my sights on a few "minor" changes" ( you know stuff mama won't notice until they are done, after all it is her car) and the list is growing daily....

Welcome. I also belong to a couple of other auto forums, but have found this one to be one of the more casual, active and interesting ones, maybe partly because we don't take ourseleves quite as seriously (like it really is ok to just say "nice car" without it being considered wasted space).
