New Guy/HHR SS

Alright I am about to get a 2010 HHR SS so. I use to own a 99' 2G GST Eclipse that i did a lot of work on and made about 350Hp With a TD05H turbo 880CC injector and tons and tons more. My buddy has a Cobalt SS and liked his a lot so i was looking at the HHR SS and found one but I'm all lost when it comes to tuning and what's wrong and right and what's good and what's bad. So if maybe i can get a helping hand I know lots about turbo and things like that but what to her what some ppl are running and using. Thanks in advice for the help. Hope to be an owner of an SS soon.

Welcome to the site! I'm still a fairly new SS owner myself. I got my 09 SS in January of this year.

Have a read through these forums here. Lots of good info on what people are doing. Lots of tuning options and performance parts seem to be available.

First off, &

Good power is pretty easy with these. If you are getting a manual trany. The Trifecta tune is easy and cheap. For an auto, HPTune and there is a guy that will send you a copy of his. Core the 2nd cat, a K&N. Will get you moving and surprise a lot of people.

Good luck.
