New guy from wet Washington

Just thought I would make my first post an introduction.

I bought my used 2007 LS a couple months ago. It took me this long to get an activation code, but glad I finally did. My HHR is black with the satin chrome. No add ons (yet) except for the factory wheels which I really like and the previous owner put on 57' Chevy side stripes. Plan to debadge some, would like to change bowties to red. Not too many plans, but would like to improve gas mileage and performance, maybe lowering springs.

I also own an 05' T&C Van (actually my wifes, I just pay for it) a 76' Austin Mini Clubman (right hand drive automatic) and my toy is a 31' 5 window coupe that is chopped 3". I've owned a lot of different cars, but my HHR is my daily driver and I enjoy it so far.

Thanks Lucky! Which moding, the stripe? If so, yeah, I like it. It's different. I have no idea where the original owner got them though.

Thanks jeffs396, the wheels were hard to find info on until I looked through the dealers accessories catalog. $2500+ is what it said for the wheels. I like them but that's way more than I would spend on them.

Lucky, the stripe is a decal. The wider part is a little more 3-D-ish as is the little chrome chevy logo. I've haven't found them anywhere, but I do like it. It matches the brushed chrome of the handles and grille. It's also why I'd like to change my front and rear gold chevy emblems changed to red.

Jeff and HillsdaleHHR, thank you for the welcome

Welcome from the OC!

GREAT color choice! PITA to keep clean, but oh-so worth it!

You can find overlays for the bowties on eBay:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BOWTI...221410009r9039

Mine are custom painted pink with an old skool overlay in black.
Digging the wheels, definetely needs to be leveled/lowered! Is your grille black also?

Let the mods begin!
