Question New To Here With A New HHR

I just got a new HHR a month ago and think it is great. I have had a lot of cars in my life but this is one of the most fun cars I have ever had so far. I made it 3 miles from the dealer before I stopped and bought new wheels. Be getting some new pinstripe tomorrow. No sure I like the grille and really don't like the open lower vent for tranny cooler / radiator being without some type of grille to cover it. Have seen some billet ones on net, but not sure who makes a good bolt on one and not sure how the lower one would attach?? ** Any help in this area would be appreciated. ** By the way I live in Ohio

Thanks, Scott By the way I live in Ohio

lower grille

I have one. The SS came with one from the factory, I believe. I've seen surprisingly few people with damage to their exposed hardware, considering how glaring this omission is. Other stuff that GM's bean counters affected like only one door lock on the car, leather seats except one area on the sides, etc are less potentially damaging. Has anyone here had something get broken due to lack of a lower grille?

Welcome to the forum Scott. Sounds like you got the mod madness. I took the same route as your contemplating and really enjoy my HHR. I opted for the Precision Billet Grilles which was very easy to install with good instructions. It was priced more than some but I read good reports on their quality. Check out my pics in my album. Good luck moding.
