New HHR LT owner
Hi There,
I just purchased a beautiful 2009 HHR 1LT on August 30th and i'm in love with it so far. I'm a drummer so I needed a car that I could fit drums in, but since i'm in school for teaching, I also needed a car that was good on gas and also could get me to and from student teaching.
I haven't had any issues with the car, minus the fact I needed to get rotars right away. Lucky my brother is a mechanic and worked at a chevy dealer for 10+ years so he was able to put them on for me, and since it's a 2009, It still has a bumper to bumper warranty and 100,000 or 5 year drive terrain warranty.
The car had 28,870 when I bought it and just turned 29,000 yesterday!
other than that, I noticed today that the lock switch on the driver door along with the rocker/leveler for the power mirrors don't light up, but since the car is under warranty, I can get them replaced under chevy's expense (even though it probably cost them pennies)
I have nothing major in mind as far as mod's are concerned as of right now, I'm pretty satisfied with the 6 speaker system, and the custom EQ is awesome (being a musician who has dealt with recording, it's great to be able to adjust to a EQ that sounds good for me). Only things I have in mind is getting the radio controls installed along with the radio that has bluetooth capabilities/usb port, and getting the factory fog lights installed
anyway I'm excited about being a forum member, and learning new things about my HHR everyday!
