Smile New HHR owner in Northern Ontario!

Hello Chevyhhr.net Forums!

As of two weeks ago, I purchased a 2006 HHR and I'm loving the car!

When the PT Cruisers came out, I told myself that I had now seen the ugliest car on the road and would never get myself one. When I first saw the HHR, I loved it.. The difference in external characteristics that fact that it was a GM product made me think twice (and have to you seen a picture of a '49 suburban?). My trusty truck finally broke down for the last time, and this forced me to look for a new car.

So down to the Chevy dealer to look at used cars, and there I saw an HHR. Within 3 minutes of the test drive, I knew I wanted the car.. :) The roomy interior gave me the impression of a truck, and feel in love.

I'm happy that the '06 they had on the lot was an 2LT (17' rims, chrome everything, leather interior, 2.4 Engine, etc..).. The only negative comment I have about the car is the small 2.4 engine auto, and the lack of highway passing uumpfh, but otherwise a great car.

Only issue I've had so far is within 48 hours of having the vechile, I got the "CEL and --- Coolent / Blown T-Stat" issue, but a guide on this forum by Smoke Wagon helped walk me thru the repair myself.. I love the site, keep it up..

Welcome, hope you enjoy the car. I love the orange, too bad they stopped making it.
For a little extra passing power try sliding the automatic into "I" mode. Much more fun that way
