There is no dip stick to check the trans fluid I think they say its good for 100,000 miles

Thanks again. I had no idea about the electronic power-steering so that's good to know why I could not find the dipstick. The manual stated that the transmission fluid is sealed, but 100k miles before changing?? That seems a little excessive...Maybe every 50k or so. Has anyone gone over 100k and then changed their trans fluid? Just curious.

Dear pcengine92,

On page 5-5 of the 2009 HHR owner's manual, I do see the information that you had posted on the forum. However, I also see that the owner's manual reads that if you are not able to get the 91 octane fuel an owner can use 87 octane unleaded fuel or higher, but the vehicle's acceleration could be slightly reduced, and the owner might notice a slight audible knocking noise.

I regards to the options and features of your particular vehicle, if you would like to provide me with your VIN, I would be happy to exhaust my resources about your build sheet of this vehicle.
