New HHR owner saying hi.

Well my wifes cav. died so we went car shopping, She wanted a PT but fell in love with the hhr when we test drove it. So we looked around ad bought a 2006 hhr lt with 5 speed and 50,000 miles for 8,000 dollars. Seemed like a good price. I Wasnt really thrilled with the Pt cruiers but im not sure who likes the hhr more her or me. What a fun litttle car to drive.

Well, you got a small piece of history buying the HHR. It's actually a miniature retro of the '49 Chevy Surburban. I like retros such as the PT as much as anyone else, but have yet to find out what the PT represents other than general automotive styling of the '40s. If anyone can shed some light on this, it would help all (and perhaps make us better appreciate the PT).

With that said, welcome to the world of HHR ownership and hopefully the above statements will give you something to talk about with other retro machine fanatics.
