Check the CARFAX and try to Avoid a "Rental Unit".![Wink](https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
Remote start is GREAT in our area. and the rentals have that Disabled. Not on manual Transes either.
There is a workaround for the remote start on the rental cars but if you can, avoid one altogether. Plenty have bought them here with good luck, but I know I have beat the crap out of a rental car before. Mainly just Pushing it to it's limits checking it out, but if 60-80% of all the other people do the same, it's Tired by the time the rental companies sell them off.![LOL](https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/images/smilies/icon_lol.gif)
PANEL PANEL PANEL!!! Like TOGA TOGA TOGA! LOL![LOL](https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/images/smilies/icon_lol.gif)
Good luck on your search. Post pics of them all when you get a chance.

Thanks for the advice. It seems that the vast majority that I see at dealers were rentals at one time, per the Carfax's I have checked. They are pickingthem at the auctions. The 09 LT we found for my older son was a rental for the first 9k miles and then personal vehicle for the next 10k. It still was like new and has remote start. Just lucky on that, I guess.
Yesterday, I thought I found what I was looking for, a 2010 with leather and sunroof, 23k miles and Carfax showed that it was 1 owner personal car. Further checking showed that it was manual tranny and I want an auto.
