Where should I start? My wife and I found out we were pregnant in April. I currently have a 2005 1500 Silverado she at the time was driving a 2000 Volkswagen Beetle. It was her first car and her dream car, but it was not a family car. After weeks of convincing she finally agreed to get rid of her car. We traded it in on a 2009 HHR 2LT. Victory Red with Ebony leather and chrome package. Since the end of May we've tacked on just over 11,000 miles(We took a road trip to Yellowstone, the Grand Tetons, Mount Rushmore and Billings, MT in July) and are still loving it. Hope to be able to add some to this HHR community. Looking now to see if I have any pics of the car on this computer. I'll post some when I find them.

And one pic with my truck and her car

With the exception of the 20% tint up front the HHR is stock for the time being. I'm looking to lower it and add a set pf aftermarket wheels and tires but may wait until after winter to do that.

Thank you. I have always been a Chevy man so I was quite pleased with the purchase.

Welcome,
It's good to hear that a long family vacation can be acheived in the wonderful HHR. It sure beats the hell out of the Station wagon of old.

Vivid Black. The trip out west earlier this year was taken with this bike as well. We trailered our bikes to Rapid City, SD then in the course of 9 days put 1900 miles on the bikes. Kayla followed in our HHR.

I should clarify. We had two RVs and one 2500 Silverado towing the bikes. There were a total of 10 bikes and Kayla in the HHR. We stayed around Rapid City for a day or two and on those rides Kayla rode with me. On the trip from Rapid City to Yellowstone she followed in the HHR. Being pregnant, though only about three months at the time, she wasn't sure how comfortable she would be riding the bike all those miles. Turned out to be a good idea, on the first day away from Rapid City we rode 480 miles to Cody, Wyoming.
