New to site - Not GM

Greetings, new to HHR, not GM. Will be the quarter owner of a red 2010 HHR SS (auto) which will be picked up next Wednesday morning. Hoping "da wifey" will let me drive it. She has hounded me since the HHR was introduced and I just could not do it! Not enough "grunt" for me.

But since she has supported my other turbo toy since 2003, I felt it was time to give her what she wants, but I slipped in a little treat for me (stage 1) and hope to slip a few more goodies on her toy as well.

Located in SE MI west of I-275 off I-94.

Hope to learn from other members.

C-ya![/

Welcome! That SS with the Turbo upgrade will surely provide enough grunt! Now you'll have to figure out how to borrow the HHR from your wife... Good luck concocting some excuses to drive it. It's addicting.

Welcome

Thanks for the warm welcome! We pick the vehicle up on Wednesday. I'm actually excited for her as she has wanted one since they were introduced. But having driven prior model years, I could not convince myself to get her one, knowing that on some trips I might be called upon to drive.

Since I tend to get annoyed at all of the distracted driving taking place, I like to have a vehicle with some "grunt" to go on about my business, if you know what I mean. My Sierra and STi accomplish that with ease.

And being able to drive it, she has to sleep sometime. Her car may end up late nights on Woodward Ave.
