Hello all, been lurking around since I bought the car, figured I should join! Just bought an 07 HHR 2.2 auto, 160k miles. The car has a few bumps and bruises, but overall not bad for what I paid. A family member had one years ago and I liked hers, so when it came time to find myself a new daily driver I figured why not try one myself. I have had dozens of cars, and enjoy tinkering with them. I have done a few things to the car already, and have a list of what still needs to be done. I look forward to learning more on here and admiring everyone else's builds.
Any suggestions as far as maintenance items I should look at/replace? Plugs, ignition coils? I have already changed the oil, air filter, shocks, tires, cleaned the throttle body. The car runs good with no check engine light, but I imagine the plugs are original, and I am only averaging 24mpg on the highway, is that normal?
