That’s 2 spring trips to Florida, I’ve missed the love bugs , I don’t really miss them! and while driving your really cannot miss them !

Thanks! I had to use a dremel and modify the caps to make them fit, but I think they turned out pretty good.

I'm debating about attacking the rims and making them black or red. Because they have so much surface rust i know its gonna take awhile for the process.

If the rust is real bad you may want to consider going to a junkyard and finding some in better shape. Around here plain steel wheels only cost about $5-10 each at a junkyard. If you don't want to go that route, I'd recommend maybe getting a wire wheel attachment to go on a drill and try to get the rust off that way

Red powder coat , Pontiac Trans AM lug nut covers and Toyota truck centre caps

These looked great with the IBM paint

These were summer rims, WV rally rims with baby moons

These were the winter rims! Oldblue rode in style back then

Well thank you , I’ve since sold Oldblue, and sadly a connecting rod made its escape through the block , it now sits out behind a barn for parts.
