Newbie

Got rid of my wifes gas guzzler Expedition for a 2009 HHR. Went from 14mpg to 20+. We love it!

Welcome to the site ! Your gas mileage went up all because you went to smaller vehicle w/ a smaller motor. But its great to not have to fill up as much !!

I concur.

I parked my 2000 Silverado in December with 252,000 miles, I was good friends with the pump, visiting regularly. I bought a 08 Panel and now I fill up at about half tank because I feel guilty about not stopping in for a visit. I am getting 26 on the back roads and a solid 32 on the interstate. I love my HHR and I look forward to personalizing it. I have to keep reminding myself it is an inexpensive light duty car because it has lots of toys and is way more fun than my old truck.
