On the road again

Hi All - proud owner of a 2008 LS that was stored for three years and about to get back on the road.

Looking for tips on emptying the gas tank prior to powering up, fluids, etc. (Prefer to not have to drop the tank; tried a manual pump but no dice.)

Wow. It was stored 3 years WITH gas in it. If it wasn't run during that time, then it's not good.

I would advise dropping the tank and flushing it. Also flush the lines to the engine. If it was stored with less than a full tank, there could also be some water accumulated in it from condensation buildup.

Better safe than sorry if you want it to be dependable.

Oops. Missed it. Welcome to the site.
