Welcome from sunny SoCal and to the HHR familia!

I am a doofus and still have trouble -- almost 3 years later -- parking my car.

What color and we like pix!

Thumbs up

Welcome Southerner-

You will get used to the differences..

I have a few scratches under the front on mine, yes I did them, back when I first got it. But no damage otherwise..

We live & hopefully learn.. Enjoy the New Ride..

And never be shy about any questions, that's what these forums are for..

Southerner,
You've got to get out of the habit of bumping things......it just could give the wrong idea....hmmm or the right, what they meant earlier was that it's smaller so stay further back from the curbs....much further...you've definitely got the room.

WOW! I post a few times then have to take care of business emergencies and can't get back and ... there are so many wonderful responses!!

Where do I begin? My car is 2009 LT dark gray. It has very pretty wheels with running boards but I've been looking at mud flaps on all 4, chrome around the wheel wells (is that right?) and spoilers too!

I mention the cattle guard idea (I forgot what I called it before) because I saw a picture of something down there to protect that area and it looked like what's on the front of trains. I thought I might need that! But I'll try just to stop with my tires (LOL, I wouldn't keep going, you funny person you)!

I plan to clay it and clean it and then I'll post picture. But it certainly doesn't meet up to you'all's pictures!! And I'm in Charlotte, NC!

Thank you all SOOOOOO much for making me feel welcome!! I think you are all wonderful bunch of people!

Southerner-

Perhaps "Cow Catcher" was the term you were thinking of ?

Anyhow, the description of your HHR sounds great !!! Enjoy !!!

Yes! Cow Catcher! And I see that I actually call it wheel wells instead of fender holes in this post ... too much information swirling - it's beginning to leak back out. I already have 144 links to information (so much to learn and so little time).
