Welcome to the site!

What a story. Sorry to hear about your troubles with the Saturn.

Also, do not worry about having to settle for the base model HHR. I also have an LS model, and though I drool at all the SS models (only ever seen one on the road), i know an SS was completely unpractical for my situation as well. I am driving my HHR 425 kilometeres daily, 5 days a week. So far no major problems and just passed the 105,000 kilometer mark (on a 2009). You can add options such as fogs/spoiler/billet grille/running boards etc at your own time and budget constraints. Then again, you can just drive it the way it is and enjoy it for what it's worth, an economical fuel efficient 4 banger with cargo room. Again, welcome to the site!

Welcome, fellow newbie.

I just traded in my 2005 Saturn Ion2 quad coupe for my HHR LT. It ran great but the roof started leaking big time and not the moonroof either. Never had that happen in any car I've owned before, regardless of age. It was almost paid off and I was considering trading up anyway. Wasn't worth the bother to fix it. Don't regret my decision to get the HHR, though it's been less than a week.

Welcome and I hope you enjoy the HHR.

Welcome to the site! I agree about the windshield divider! Where can you get those?

Welcome, and don't sweat the "it's just an LS" thing. Spend any time on a car-specific forum and it won't matter WHAT you have..you'll want more/better/cooler. I have a stock SS, which the non-SS guys idolize. But of course I spend every waking hour deaming of Stage 1 kits and anti-sway bars and lowering kits (none of which I can afford right now)...even though the car goes like stink, handles great, and would scrape on my steep driveway if I lowered it. In other words, enjoy your cool little car, and get yerself a fedora!

I came out of an 1997 SC2...was one of the best cars I ever owned. Had 213k on it when I sold it to my brother-in-law, who's still driving it. Sorry to hear that you got the shaft on the Aura, but I think you'll be happy with your newest ride. Welcome!!!

Like mentioned previously, you can always "upgrade"! Mine is a 1LT, but to the naked eye I've already (unintentionally) made it look as if it's a 2LT! Chrome wheels mostly... But you can always add different things over time and it'll look like a nicer model!

Well, hate to burst your egotistical bubble, but not really, I never wanted an SS.. I have just what I wanted, a 2LT Panel.. With many mods..& I know others that prefer their non SS HHRs as well...

Just FYI
