Talking 2007 HHR Fall Edition - Dealer Literature Sheet

I stopped by the Chevrolet dealer where I purchased my car today to talk about several things regarding my car and HHR's in general. I asked them when they might be getting one in and if they had any literature they could share with me. They said they had already ordered two (one with cloth and one with leather) and they should be arriving in the next 3-4 weeks. I will be giving them a call in about 3 weeks to find out status of delivery and will go take some photos when it arrives.

The also gave me some info they had received from Chevrolet which tells more about the package, what it entails, production numbers and suggested MSRP. I have scanned it and uploaded it to my website HERE

Sounds like it's going to be a pretty cool package and not a bad price. Let me know what you think. I don't remember seeing this info anywhere else, so I hope it's helpful and sheds some light on what we should be expecting.

I guess I'll stick with my "old" 2.4L engine with with 172 horsepower and 162 lb.-ft. of torque!

Someone forgot to proofread their text down at GM Marketing!

No matter, the new measurement standard shows the same HHR engine making 175hp (which 07 window stickers now reflect) - there have been no changes to the engine, GM was just "overly conservative" with their previous rating method.

I find it odd they did not go with black chrome mirrors to continue the theme.

If you click on the link and go to my website, you'll see that it says Black Outside Mirrors Painted. I personally think that everything that is bright chrome with that package should be black chrome with this package as well. When it arrives, I'll be sure to take plenty of pictures to pass on to my HHR friends.

I'm really starting to wonder if Chevy will ever put out a performance package on this vehicle. Yes, there are aftermarket mods that can boost up performance, however, does anyone think that GM is comitted enough to this Hot Rod that they will ever invest the R and D $$$ to really make this an "out of the box" performance machine? The styling has been nailed in my opinion and doesnt need a whole lot more. I love my HHR, dont get me wrong. But ........................

MARMEL I couldnt agree more. I love the way they look but wished it had more umph. The SS will be cool but Id like to see GM really show what this ecotec could do from the showroom. I dont really look at my HHR as a performance vehicle, but wouldnt a low 14sec high 13 hhr would be swweet. But i do like the black chrome by the way too. The more diffrent little changes like those keeps them unique looking not so cookie cut.
