2009 Gilroy Garlic Festival

Anyone planning on attending? I have been there all week helping set up Gourmet Alley. I will be there all weekend long volunteering at the childrens area for Home Depot. Great food and entertainment. July 24-26. I will posts pics after the festival as long as the camera works (Or at least if my hands are not stuffing my face with Garlic).

Only 2 pics so far, crowds were huge and was just to busy to take many pics. Also had my hands full of the free Garlic Ice Cream...YUM The 1st pic of the famous Gourmet Alley (sure is nice before the festival opens without the crowds). The 2nd is from inside the Home Depot Kids Workshop tent.

I've meant to go for years but never seem to make it. All the years I lived out in Manteca I never went to the Asparagus festival either, LOL

Same thing here--lived in Berkeley/Oakland for 12 years and never went. Always looked like fun.
I didn't do much touristy stuff unless I had guests. It was usually time, no money (student years) or money and no time.

I'm itching for a road trip to go visit friends and colleagues on campus.
