Isn't GM owned by the US & Canadian Govs + the GM employee pension plan?

Somewhere down the line it will be analyzed by courts etc for the legality of what happened. For all of the bailouts we've had, I don't know if any have been done perfectly.....

I wonder if GM will reconsider it's phasing out of the HHR given the improvement in sales with the CFC program. Chrysler gave the PT Cruiser a reprieve.....

You obviously haven't owned one.

I have, and it was a great car, and despite its age, makes the Avalon look like crap. The brand new Taurus is the first vehicle that is actually better than the Impala in this class.

Agreed. The HHR should be updated and kept in the lineup. You see them all over the place, and GM should keep vehicles on the lots that people like.

Agreed!! My mom had one, and it was nice. Only sold it because it was an "old person car"...

Oh, and another anti-Obama idiot.....

I won't be going into politics on this thread, but I am no friend of Obama, or any member of this current administration.

I won't either.

But I find it quite ironic that people won't give the guy some time before being judged and sat back and let Bush run this country into the ditch for 8 years. And to those who don't like goverment programs they can give back their social security and medicare.
