Thanks everyone! Electric bill is up there but it is worth it when the little kids come by and you see the look in their eyes. There is an elementary school in the neighborhood so we get new visitors each year. The choir sings (rock speakers w/two CDs of music) which seems to be a favorite. The train in the back yard has it own sound effects as well.

The city has a bus tour (2 tour buses) for the senior citizens and they make the rounds through the city viewing all the decorated houses. It does cause quite the traffic jam at times.

The bad, is when the vandals come by. In the past few years, they have damaged the scene or have tried to steal the figures.

I wouldn't worry about the electric bill for something like this. The electric bill is temporary; the memories are permanent. Can't put a price on family happiness; both yours and you neighbors'.

The question is, where do you store all of this at the end of the season?

That is the most asked question!

About 80 - 85% here and the rest in a friends (nearby) garage.

I am getting a tan from here!

(As for the thieves-hot glue razor blades to your best light up statues. Works on HHR wiper blades too!)
