JJ did it! We all know Nascar is not what it used to be but these COT, the cars are basically the same and yet JJ still ended up on top.
#99 had a good year too.
bye to #20 as he becomes an owner. And lets hope #88 can do better next year. And maybe #18 will grow up and have better year next year.

Ditto to it all... not a JJ fan but have to respect what him and his team have done.

I was a Jimmy fan right up until Chad (his crew chief) got caught cheating at the 2006 Daytona 500. He lost me then and I have not been able to cheer for him since. He does seem to have some incredible luck and if you believe in the NASCAR conspiracy theories, he has been in the right place at the right time most of the time. I think he is the guy NASCAR wants to be champion and that helps a whole bunch.

Both Kyle Busch and Carl Edwards dominated the racing this year in each series and provided some of the most exciting racing ever.

JJ did it in the old car, in the transition and this year in the new car. That says a whole bunch. The competition was fierce. I don't like them fords but Biffle and Edwards are good drivers with good teams. The rest of the Hendrick team is good and will be better next year with Mark Martin. I will be watching the Stewart-Hass team, and I just can't help rooting for Kyle Busch too.

Wow, amazing. So, to recap....
1) he cheated
2) he's lucky
3) NASCAR is helping him win
4) his record doesn't compare to the 99 and the 18 (simply not true)

I guess a monkey must have been driving during qualifying (6 poles this year--twice as many as the 99 and the 18 combined).
I could go on but why let the facts get in the way. He deserved to win and I congratulate him. The 99 will have his time-- maybe even the 18

Too bad he is so vanilla and boring.......yawn. NASCAR has not had a personality since #3 died imo. Seems like a bunch of spoiled ass punks who whine "He bumped me" and get into little slap girl fights every time they feel like they were "dissed"

Only driver I even remotely care about is Kyle Busch because he is the closest thing to Dale Sr we have now. Not afraid to mix it up and do whatever it takes to win and has that edge to him.

Wonder if NASCAR will be all Toyota or some other foreign make next year...seems hard to believe that any of the Big 3 should be involved in something as expensive as NASCAR while they are crying poor mouth and begging for money
