Almost sounds as if the vette let off well before the cobalt?
Would have Bern a whole different race from 0 up or as you youngsters like to say from a dig
Fwd vs rwd vs awd
Either way the vette and especially the gtr ($100,000 alone) are big dollar cars against maybe a $30,000 dollar cobalt
Pretty impressive

My money is on the gtr from a standstill. Now a fairer race would be a gtr vs evo..

Yeah Mike the vette looked like he backed off, or missed a gear. There is no way that cobalt jumped that much. That e tune is cool, just don't want the fueling hassle.

I don't mind the hassle. (even though it is more so 1:1 w/ gas) It gives acceleration that 'Oh ****' feel and I can flash back to a regular tune any time I need to. I can only imagine what kind of timing I could run with the zzp cams and full E85.

Breadfan, California is easy to find e85... Here in Tennessee we like our gas like our whiskey... Untouched... Plus I got two pumps within 5 miles of the house that sell 112. computer likes it just fine, my wallet on the other hand, not so much, at 8 something a gallon.. I kow thats cheap for av gas but still.

$3.49/gal for the E here. Running almost twice the timing up top. I suppose I'll have to make it to the track (or a mexican hwy) at some point to figure out exactly what diff it makes for me. 100oct is $8/gal here. I do like your whiskey, tho. Got any untouched stuff to send me that I can't get here?

Just street. I'm been toying with trying out a test and tune night. I've never been into tuning cars before so I'm not real saavy about what I need to do or where I need to go for the testing part. (stuff like: will I get tossed from the track if my tune runs me faster than I think it will and I don't have helmet/do have co-pilot ) I think I'm gonna try to get ahold of an NHRA guy I used to know. I did get my Airlift bags but it has been hotter than sin here so no install yet. If my tunes/programming works like it is supposed to, I have some interesting plans that may involve a beta-tester....

But.
Not sure what you will run think traction will be your enemy.
If you can borrow a Snell approved helmet I am guessing you will need it 13.99 or faster and the only thing you should need is to Wear.pant s
