Here's another fact about aluminum foil. Don't buy the cheap stuff and expect it to work as well as Reynolds. The difference in thickness makes it less efficient in the oven or when covering food to keep it warm. And the cheap stuff tears with the slightest tug.

Thanks for the info on the tabs. If only they had done a commercial about this new invention, all our lives would have been better! Shouldn't there have been a mandatory PSA?

ok now i am checking all the boxes... single sheet parchment paper ON ROLLS does NOT have the little tabs...NOR my Hostest waxpaper. sue them too

It always helps to read the instructions but once you set those tabs and the foil gets bunged up on the end, its a hassle just the same :)

I have more problems with cutting my finger on the cutter then the stuff popping out of the box. see, it's cut

I thought I would bump this thread up since I had to teach my in-laws about this little trick this weekend. They laughed their butts off when I showed them the tabs. I told them that this was common knowledge with HHR owners, they are Chrysler people.

i'm happy to say I know about this. but the tabs don't work that great, but it's nice they are there.
