Another Key F.O.B. bites it

My sons 2011 LT2 Key F.O.B.'s bit the big one :O 1 will unlock 1 will lock. Gave him the repair links so will see if it works.. If not I have 2 spares or he can hit E Bay :) Thanks to you who gave info on the repairs: thumb:

They do seem to be somewhat delicate. I have one that has never been a problem, and another that I have done solder repair twice on. The diagrams on this site led me right to where the problem was.

This is another one more suited for the Lounge. Seems more like a discussion point than a problem.

New pads sounds like the solution to me, if the tin foil trick doesn't work. I did have one that just died nothing helped it.
