Why do pools have to cost so much?

 

I know, we put one up last year, and I am not sure about this coming summer if we will keep it up or not.Did you know that they are very expensive(chemicals) and alot of work to keep clean too?

 

Do you think it would be cheaper to get a membership to the city pool than fill my pool and buy chemicals for it for the whole summer?

 

Well don't you have a local free pool? (we do but it is crazy busy and not the cleanest place)

 

Free pool?? Hell no,lol, there is a community swimming pool in the town that I grew up in, and then there is a city pool in Bowling Green which is like 9 miles away, not sure what a family membership for the season is though.

 

Do you have any YMCA's?

 

There is a couple in Toledo somewhere, oh and I think one in Defiance which is like 40 minutes from me. Do you think I would want to drive that far to go swimming, lol?(like half hour drive)
