I had to put leave it alone but I don't need it for my post count. I honestly can't remember the last time I opened one of the story or word association threads. I don't need them to be a loudmouth on the internet over pointless issues that we'll never solve; I do enough of that in religious, public issue, and political threads. I don't think anyone actually cares about there post count other than as a joke. I don't care that jx3 beat me or how he did it I'm just glad it's not me anymore. I'm surprised that it took nearly 2 years though. I think the whole post race started as a joke between me and SIHHR then others threw their hat in the ring. It's the gratuitous welcomes in non hello threads that bother me. Especially the I have no clue of what you're talking about nor can I help you but have a big happy welcome from me and the gang ones.

 

I could care less one way or the other. I posted in these threads in the beginning, but don't feel the need or urge to do so anymore. If you enjoy it fine...if you don't, just cruise on by. Post count isn't important in my opinion. I'm more interested in quality posts than quantity.

Wow that's crazy. Here's why I'll never produce anything close to those type of numbers:

Fulltime job + Fulltime family + Fulltime college student + Home improvement projects around the house + HHR + attending Charger football games = very little time for posting...
