NG... I noticed in your first post of this thread, you named yourself the "Forum Voice of Reason." How did you get that title? 
So what if somebody wants to be a post whore (Capt. and Jay, I mean that in the best of ways, sincerely )? I say let it be. The "Word Association" thread harms nobody. When no other posting is going on during the day, at least we have that to look forward to. It's what I use when I get bored after I run out of answers to use on Y!A.
I would like to know why you take such personal offense to the thread.

Here's an idea.
We should make the "Anti-Word Association Thread" similar but opposite to the "Word Association" thread. When somebody says a word, you reply with the exact opposite word that the first word made you think of.
