Nothing that fast ! My first van , when I was 17 , I had a 63 VW bus that I bought from a junk yard in when I lived in Stuttgart ,Germany. In 2000 I finally found a VW Panel van. After a 2 year restoration this is my '65 Panel
I only put 1800 miles on it since 2002
Wow. Brings back memories. My parents bought a new 68 VW Bug, then later added a new 72 VW camper van. I learned to drive in those 2 cars in 1975 ! Took my DL test in the Bug.
The 68 Bug was handed down to me in 1976 when my brother moved to Hawaii.

Awesome John, I didn't even know VW made a Panel, That is sweet. Closest to a VW I ever came was driving my Aun't's Beetle back in late 60's.
I put a Corvair engine in a 57 Bug with the later tunnel case trans. The guy who owned it made up carb fuel lines out of copper which finally broke and the car burned to the ground.
