Anyone fly or drive an RC model?
When my kids were growing up,my brother-in-law up in Jersey would send us one of his company's newest RC boat or truck for Christmas. The boys and I sure had fun with them.Even though this comes from a company other than his(sorry Frank),I have bought one of these "fast electric" boats to play with on the odd weekend when Susie and I are not hitting the road in Rebel Grey.It should be fun on one of the small lakes on Ft.Rucker.Anyone else here play with R/C stuff? http://www.aquacraftmodels.com/boats/aqub17-main.html
HonestBlues, RC racing and flying are big down here in Fort Walton. There's a track up the street from my house that draws large crowds every weekend. There's also some old runways on the Eglin reservation that are used for flying RC planes.
My dad flies RC planes up in St Louis. Mostly, he just likes to build them. He does it quite often since he's not too great at flying them!

I used to Have a HPI RS4 3 evo, looked like this, It could reach speeds up to 50mph!! Had lots of fun with it, but got tired of having to tune it every sec so I sold it.

I was never in to the on-road, don't have a place around to run them. My rc-10gt stadium truck will hit 40+, the 1/8 scale ofna buggy I had would hit 60+ mph. It was fun! 4wd .25 engine putting out 2.4 hp @ 28000 rpm
