Avatar - Unbelievable Movie

Just saw Avator and I think it's the best movie I've ever seen. The 3-D was right in your lap. Story was wonderful.

I watched it on IMAX 3D. It was an awesome effects show, and I did not leave disappointed. As for the story, it was pretty generic. If you were a greenie, it was a good treehugger flick. If you were a historian, it was a good cowboys vs. indians flick, and if you hate corportations, it was a good anti corporation flick. There was a LOT of stuff shamelessly swiped from other movies in it.

A proven Hollywood money-printing formula. It's breathtakingly beautiful, mass-market simple in its plot, tearjerking in just the right places, takes cues from recent social and political issues, and a tinge of button-pushing controversy tossed in just to create buzz.

In other words: Magnificent to see, superbly profitable. Everyone wins!

LOL, TS versions are such crap. Even a screener is better.

Actually, I did watch the TS of 2012 in 720p and it was very good..

Didn't have time to play Avatar. These are originally a mkv file, very high res
and after converting with AVS it turned out nice.

Production was clever, story done before by Disney:

Obviously requires sound to make the point.
