congrats, my little girl is going to be 2 months old on the 19th. just wait until they actually start sleeping longer than 3 hours at a time. we made it 5 hours last night. was kinda nice.

Congratulations. You'll have to give some insight on how car seats fit in an HHR. I haven't seen a post on that subject yet. My kids are grown but I may toting grandchildren around some day!

I'll have to give my wife credit for putting the car seat in the HHR. I honestly do not know how she did it.
But I'm sure I'll have my day.

BTW: I used to live in Fort Walton. I miss that place.

as for the car seat, we have a pumkin seat that has a base, and the you pop the car seat out. it fits in there just fine, i was unable to use the black straps that mount to the car seat mounts that are in the cargo area. so i used the middle seat and seat belt buckle for the base. the seat belt buckle locks into position. then we can pop her in and out in the pumpkin seat. plenty of room up front for the parents. i cant wait until i can get her into the other car seat that we got, not only is it black and grey, but it also has cup holders for her, and is suppost to be the best one out there, and those black strap deals i will be able to use with no problem.
