Yea I'm playing and not doing well either. I keep going over by just a little bit. One I was over by just $1000.

 

I wish us Canadian folks could win prizes. I wouldn't mind an iPod Touch.

Based on my memory of years past, I would say prices are down quite a bit. I would say what I have seen so far is cars are selling for 1/3 to 1/2 of what they would have sold for 2 years ago. Many incredible bargains to be had, if you have the money.

Its a reality check for the collectable car market too.

 

I was off by $6000 over on the most recent one (Austin Healy)
The Chevy Apache I was well under the selling price
I really thought the VW Westfalia would have sold for A LOT more

 

We've been over almost all the time by 10K. It'll be harder tonight and Saturday.

 

Well I missed the 1st 4 hours today (Working...yuk) lets see how I do for the rest of the evening.

 

Missed the Packard by $1,000. The auctioneer should have kept it on the block for a little while longer trying to get that last $1,000.
Dang, missed that corvette by $2,000!! Those bidders need to stop being so cheap and start throwing their money around a little bit more.

 

Had the challenger at 72,000 , were it sat for a bit then went to 75,000. dam.
that was my 1st bid as the cable was out lastnite.
