Beer

Who's a beer drinker here? I just got some Samuel Adams Cherry Wheat. Different for a change but probably won't get it again. I like Fat Tire and Shiner Bock. Also like Tecate for a mex brew.

I mostly drink Miller Genuine Draft, but I'll drink Michelob, Shiner, and Bud if it's around.

MMmmm.. beer... the magic elixir. Shiner is great, as is Fat Tire. To get what you really want, you need to learn to brew your own though. It's really not that difficult (well, except for the waiting on fermentation part

I can't drink beer, three beers and it's nighty night, but I "love" Jack Daniels Tennesse Whiskey and Maker's Mark Boubon...

Sam Adams or Guinness. That's it for me. Glad to hear you can get Sam's in Texas. 2 years ago while visiting in Florida, we went to an Italian place. The waitress asked what we wanted to drink. After the Buds and other drinks were ordered, I asked for a Sam Adams. I was informed that they didn't carry imported beer! (It's made 20 miles from my house in Boston)

I enjoy one Michelob Ultra in a frosted glass with dinner. It is low carbs and low calories. I used to have 2 beers with dinner, but Ohio has a new 0.8 law and I am not sure how close 2 will bring me to the limit. I imagine these laws really hurt the restaurant bar business.

Sometimes a waitress will bring me a beer in a bottle (no glass). I wait until she comes back and request a glass (preferrably frosted). I tell her what they say, "No Glass - No Class" and I want a glass. The next time I come for dinner, the waitress remembers this and I get a glass without asking.

I used to belong to a country club in Naples, Florida and Larry Bird was a member. After golfing, he used to have 2 beers at a time (out of the bottle). Larry is a big guy, so imagine that 2 beers for him is the same as 1 for me. (Larry has class, even if he drinks beer out of the bottle, but I still like mine out of a glass).
