Black Friday

So who got up early and went shopping?

I woke around 4:30 and couldn't get back to sleep so I headed to the stores. At 5:30 with temps around 45 degrees, the line was around the building for Best Buys. They had been open for 30 minutes already but most of the patrons still hadn't gotten in the door.

I ended up buying one present, a new cordless drill and pressure washer for myself from Home Depot, some throw pillows for the couch and rugs for the floor from Penneys. There were some great deals out there. But these days my kids prefer money so they can make their own choices. You raise them to be independent and it ends up biting you in the butt!

Have a great weekend everyone!

From inside my eyelids, I went shoppping. With 25 degree temps, I leave that shopping for our daughters, while we watch the grandkids.

No way, Never, No how. I just can't do it

I would rather spend a little more money later, then have to deal with all the people out there at 4 in the morning.

I went Shopping from 5:30 to 10:30 so far today, it was 12 degrees and I didn't find a thing Deer Hunting.

Here is the mass hysteria from all the customers.

I bought a Garmin StreetPilot C340C at CC, but I cheated, bought it online, parked across the street from them, went in and picked it up!

No waiting!

Now I can find myself!

Same here I would rather spend twice as much to avoid the crowds.

You'll enjoy it...I have a 320 and really use it a lot...problem is my wife likes it more! I'm going to get myself a Garmin Nuvi 200...thought about a Tom Tom as they seem to be on sale everywhere but fell real comfortable with the Garmin interface

I went to Lowes and Walmart on my way home from work this morning and could not believe how easy it was getting in and out of the stores. NO waiting at all. At Lowes I got a cordless drill set and flashlights, in and out of store in less than 10 min.

At Walmart I got 3 digital photo frames and even with looking around I was out in less than 30 min. (my fault it took so long, I was takeing my time looking).

I am sure the economy is hurting this year due to gas prices and such. I did not see the crowds I have seen in past years.
