Dayton and I are both avid game players and like role playing games. In the games we have set user names mine being Chriton and his being Dayris. Each is a morph of both of our names. Mine begins with my name and ends in his and his begins with his name and ends in mine.

Wow. This thread almost went a whole year without a post. You must've dug deep in the lounge graveyard for this one.

I feel this is long overdue...Sindy please sticky this thread

Weird, I have not seen this thread before. Good idea though

Oh, Me, Harpozep. Well, in highschool a lot of drugged out youths, some might want to call them "peers", staggered their way through the dayzzzze.
One came up to me and saw me with my electric guitar and stated " Zep, He's the best!" I was playing Steve Miller or Lindsey Buckingham stuf, NOT Zep!
These smelly acne-prone youths scurried about my world throughout the seventies, much to my arrogant dismay

My Friends and I met and did "Good zoos" like emptying a five pound bag of flour over someone sitting in the toilet at the mall! ( Ok, we were no angels either ). We all had something in common, we hated Led Zepplin and the "Zeps" as we called them that drooled their way through school, smelled of so much dope and deflowered the local girls before anyone of "quality" could.

So we called ourselves "Antizep" but it was to hard to say so we became "Zep"

I like to think of us as the "Chowder Society" as in the story and Movie "Ghost Story" We even had our Alice Krige, but that , my friends is another story....

Harpo? It ain't Oprah backwards to me , it is indeed from Harpo Marx, the silent one and often the most talented of the Marx brothers. Still, I like the Stooges better, but Harpo has a nice flow to it.
Though as I grow in age and girth, I am more and more thinking of donning the moniker "Curly"
So there ya have it, Harpo for a group I only kinda like and Zep for a group I intensely dislike! I guess that makes me a self hating negative person.... ?

I've never seen this before either...

Mine's not real creative either... G - First initial and Carp - first letters of my last name.

I was going to use my initials but thought that was a little misleading on a GM type site. My initials are GMC.

My favorite Thin Lizzy album is Johnny The Fox, Mainly for the cut " Johnny" ( Though not the title cut funny enough ). It rocks and is so tight. Great Wah Wah

back in the day if you played around on the phone system it was called "phreaking". hold a recorder up to a pay phone while you insert quarters and record the tone it made. playback tone and walla, free phone call. basically anything that one could do to retain "free services" from anything was phreaking. **** disclaimer.... or so i was told....... lol
change spelling to freke. never got caught, fantom.

also a character from the movie hackers.
