Buying my dream wagon.....
We sold the wife's Explorer, so she's taken over the HHR (which I still drive a lot as well), but that leaves me with no vehicle of my own. Been shopping on-line quite a bit. Finally pulled the handle and struck an agreement to buy this:
It's a 1981 Pontiac Bonneville Safari. Extremely low miles. 2 owner.
This was the last year for the full-size Bonneville Safari. Nameplate was switched to the mid-size platform for '82, then the big Pontiac wagon was brought back in '83 or '84, but with the 'Parisienne' name, and basically Chevy Caprice sheetmetal and interior.
Bad thing right now - I'm in Oregon. Wagon's in Wisconsin. Gotta have it shipped.

Nope. It's got a 4-barrel Olds 307
Was originally going to get it, but I've decided just to get it shipped.
