Damn, HHR forever....

While all the members can give opinions, you purchased the car with some good intentions. Do what YOUR heart and head tell you.

I mean you say, the "hardest one first", so what would be the hardest? Are you going to pull the engine for total rebuild or mods?? A body off restoration or "trick" paint? Custom interior?

Having done this type of thing several times, I would pull the body and engine. All can be worked on, in increments, at the same time.....rebuilding engine while the body and paint work is being done, etc. etc. Of course, this is dependent on two important factors....money and space.

Dude, first go with the engine. If your gonna go big do it right. I say vortec supercharger and intercooler, the works. My camaro with that setup will run in the 11's all night long on stock engine internals. Once you do that go with the exterior, then interior. In my opinion you'll be much happier with that setup.

I beat a kid bringing it home from the dealer. Probally wasn't the best thing to do, or even a good thing to do, but I did it anyway, and left him at the line. And my wife in the HHR, she stayed with the kid the whole time. I think she may of even got infront of him.
