While all the members can give opinions, you purchased the car with some good intentions. Do what YOUR heart and head tell you.
I mean you say, the "hardest one first", so what would be the hardest? Are you going to pull the engine for total rebuild or mods?? A body off restoration or "trick" paint? Custom interior?
Having done this type of thing several times, I would pull the body and engine. All can be worked on, in increments, at the same time.....rebuilding engine while the body and paint work is being done, etc. etc. Of course, this is dependent on two important factors....money and space.

Dude, first go with the engine. If your gonna go big do it right. I say vortec supercharger and intercooler, the works. My camaro with that setup will run in the 11's all night long on stock engine internals. Once you do that go with the exterior, then interior. In my opinion you'll be much happier with that setup.
deffinetly drive train first!! if it looks pretty but falls on its face its useless!! i have bought and restored many classic chevys and always bought the car for the body only never bought one for the drive train as i usually swap it out first!! Make it crazy fast and po a bunch of young kids its a riot believe me been there done that!!
