The only thing that really matters is how many events are actually won. They shouldn't even give out medals for first and second losers.

Face it, if someone had to beat the U.S. for the Gold in hockey wouldn't we want it to be Canada rather than any other country.

and you older guys would know this but the kid that scored for the U.S in the 3rd period...(petrese i think??)is acually the son of a Canadian olimpic hockey player back from the good ol days..he was born in the U.S but is a true Canadian..even Obama had to drink sum Molson Canadian today..he lost the bet...
