Caprice has to be called in to catch Challenger
Caprice has to be called in to catch Challenger
Every one is happy to beat on Ford's LOL.
Great find.
I have actaully had a cop tell me the same thing. I was air drying my Mustang GT's 3 day old new paint and was doing a good amount of speed down a long hill. He was going uphill and had to make a u turn. I did not get to see him turn around and thought I was safe. When he pulled me over he mentioned being glad that he had a Caprice tonight, or he would not have caught up to me. I never broke 80 so he would have no matter what lol but he did say those words. He normally drove a Crown Vic.

I think the car they put the cuffed suspect in was a Ford. So I suspect an assumption is made the initial pursuit vehicles of Cobb County were Fords.....since it initially emanated there.
Not taking sides....just an observation.

Actually, I thought that was the Caprice. There was front end damage on that car, likely from the P.I.T. maneuver, as they walked by it to put the suspect in the back. They just said they had to bring in a Caprice to catch the Challenger. Their other cars could have been other Chevys like Impalas or whatever. I just didn't see anything tha indacted that they were Fords. I won't say anything else about it........
Yes it was pure assumption but based on the words of the victum. He stated that backup had to be called in and it was a Caprice. I just assumed the rest were CV's. But Impalla's would not keep up either.
